CSFBL started in the year 2000 as a local area bank. Since then, it has extended agriculture loans, housing loans and MSME loans. In 2016, it was converted to a small finance bank, and was the first one to enter in this space with 47 branches.

The bank’s asset quality remained good with GNPA ratio at 2.50% and NNPA at 1.36% as on March 31, 2022, which increased slightly to 2.60% and NNPA of 1.35% as on September 30, 2022.

Interest Income grew by 13.06% from Rs.511.44 crores in FY21 to Rs.578.2 in FY22. The increase in interest income is on the back of the growth in advances. PAT increased by 53.40% from Rs.40.79 crores FY21 to Rs.62.57 crores in FY22 and Rs.69.35 crores for 9MFY23.
